Founding Story
Founded in 2016 by Prof. Esther Rodriguez-Villegas following over a decade of research at Imperial College London that began in 2004. The research was initially focused on preventing Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) through apnoea monitoring, which led to breakthrough multidisciplinary innovations in physiological monitoring, signal processing, and wearable sensors applicable to broader respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
