Founded in 2017, 98point6 originally launched as a 24/7 virtual clinic providing on-demand, text-based primary care. In spring 2023, Transcarent acquired the healthcare delivery division, and the company reincorporated as 98point6 Technologies to focus on licensing its technology platform to healthcare organizations. Acquired Bright.md in 2024 to accelerate expansion.
