Founding Story
Founded by Will Ahmed, a collegiate athlete who wanted to understand how training was impacting his body. After reading 500 medical papers, he discovered that monitoring metrics like heart rate and heart rate variability 24/7 could help optimize training and overall wellness. This research led to the creation of WHOOP as the most advanced wearable on the market.
